Your Video Visit with Your Case Manager
Now that you've scheduled your video visit with your Sharp Community Medical Group Case Manager, let's walk through the next steps.
After you schedule your video visit, you'll receive an email or text from Sharp HealthCare with the subject line: "Your Sharp HealthCare Video Visit." Watch for this email or text, as it will contain information you'll need to attend your appointment.
Getting set up.
If you would like to have your visit from an iPhone or iPad, download the app or find it by searching for "Video Visits 3.0" in the App Store. You will need your Apple ID to download the app.
If you will be accessing your video visit from an Android mobile device or a desktop computer, the video visit will launch through Chrome or Firefox (Internet Explorer and Safari are not compatible). You will not need to install anything.
On the day of your video visit, we recommend you join the visit a few minutes before your scheduled appointment time to ensure your camera and microphone are working properly.
It's also helpful to find a quiet place for your visit so you can be free of distractions and feel comfortable discussing any medical concerns.
Joining your video visit.
When you're ready to join your video visit, open the email and click the link that says "Enter Waiting Room." This will take you to our Video Visit Waiting Room, where you will be logged in automatically. One of our patient service representatives will welcome you, ensure your connection is good and explain what to expect from your appointment.
