Kenneth Roth, MD
Kenneth Roth, MD, was one of the original founders of Sharp Community Medical Group (SCMG) and has served on the Board of Directors since its inception in 1989, holding a number of council seats including the Executive Committee. He has been on SCMG's Board of Directors since 1989, and serves on the Sharp HealthCare Board of Directors. Dr. Roth was elected President of Sharp Community Medical Group in July 2011.
Dr. Roth received his BS degree and completed his medical education at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Internship and residency were both completed at UCSD Medical Center. Dr. Roth is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

As CEO of Sharp Community Medical Group, Paul Durr leads a team of 260 employees who are dedicated to supporting our 860 primary and specialty care physicians. Our independent physicians practice in more than 350 practice locations throughout San Diego, from as far North as Oceanside and Temecula, East to Alpine, and South to Coronado and Imperial Beach. Our patients have access to 20 urgent cares and 11 local hospitals, including all Sharp HealthCare, Palomar Health and Rady Children's Hospitals. Each year we touch more than 350,000 lives, representing 10% of San Diego County's population.
Paul has a 25-year history with Sharp HealthCare, working primarily with Sharp Community Medical Group. Paul joined Sharp Community Medical Group in 1992. He served as Chief Financial Officer for 12 years and helped lead the medical group to become one of the most successful independent practice associations in the country. In 1995, Paul established the Sharp HealthCare Managed Care Finance Department responsible for the accounting and financial analysis of capitation contracts for the Sharp HealthCare system.
Most recently, Paul served as Vice President of Physician Network Development at Sharp HealthCare, focused on the launch of Sharp Care Physicians, Inc., a new network of Sharp-affiliated physicians in San Diego County. Prior to joining SCMG, Paul spent three years with Ernst and Young and in 1991 began working at Sharp HealthCare.
Paul received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego in 1986 and CPA certificate in 1990.
In 2007, Paul Durr was named "CFO of the Year" by the San Diego Business Journal and Robert Half.
Christopher McGlone joined Sharp Community Medical Group in 1993, and presently manages the day-to-day operations of SCMG, including the claims, eligibility, encounters, Information Systems, Network Management, Customer Service, Capitation, Electronic Health Record, website and Contracts departments.
While at SCMG, McGlone has successfully managed operations during periods of tremendous growth. He has implemented automated processes in the areas of claims processing, eligibility, encounter reporting, member services, and capitation. McGlone was also responsible for the implementation of capitation contracts and programs which have been instrumental in bringing the group to profitability.
Currently, he is the executive sponsor for the purchase, implementation and support of SCMG's Electronic Health Record project.
He has over 16 years experience in medical, health care and the insurance industries, holding management positions at FHP and a large property casualty insurer prior to his employment at SCMG. At FHP, McGlone managed three of FHP's San Diego County plans representing over 50 percent of FHP's membership base in San Diego County.
McGlone received his BS Degree in Economics from the University of California Santa Barbara and an MBA from the University of San Diego.
Lynne H. Milgram, MD, MBA
Dr. Milgram has been with Sharp Community Medical Group since 1997 and currently supervises the Medical and Associate Medical Directors as well as the Pharmacy Department. Her day-to-day responsibilities include nursing and pharmacy clinical and quality reviews, along with actively reviewing opportunities for efficiencies and improving quality of care with physicians in their practices. She also is responsible for the Quality and Utilization Management Committees, and serves on the Executive Committee and SCMG Board of Directors.
Dr. Milgram has practiced medicine in San Diego since 1980, first in private practice, then as Medical Director of Outpatient Services at Harbor View Medical Center in downtown San Diego. Dr. Milgram also served as Medical Director of two national health plans first with CIGNA Healthcare of San Diego followed by United Healthcare.
Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Milgram received her BS degree from Queens College of the City, University of New York, her Medical Degree at La Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico, and an MBA from San Diego State University. She also co-authored Managing Smart: 325 High-Performance Tips Every Manager Must Know, and is board certified in Internal Medicine.
